Mae was the wife of George Percey Faulkner and remarried a Harbeck after he passed away. Info. from Findagrave member, Cherie Officer and The Portville (NY) Star, Thursday, July 2, 1959 Page One. Mae lived on the Olean-Portville Road(Rt 417 in 2013), but passed away at the Olean General Hospital after a short illness. She had lived in the area all her life and was a member of the Portville Methodist Church and Banner Rebekah Lodge 112. At the time of her death she was survived by seven children, Chester of Olean, Percey of Ceres, John of Portville, Ronald of Scio, NY., Mrs. Janet Keller(#99267448) of Olean, Mrs. Joan Plummer of Tacoma, WA and Emmett of Paramount, CA: 28 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; Three brothers, Joseph Baker of Friendship, NY., Henry Baker of Angelica, NY and Paul Baker of Nile, NY; Three sisters, Mrs. Violet Spring of Belvidere, NY., Mrs. Grace Cook of Richburg, NY and Mrs. Evelyn Derr, a Missionary in the South. The funeral was held at the Guenther and Morton Funeral Home in Porville on June 30, 1959.From the Olean, NY "Times Herald"

PORTVILLE -- Mrs. Mae Faulkner Harbeck, Portville-Olean Rd, passed away Saturday (June 27, 1959) at the Olean General Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born in Ceres, NY Sept.24, 1879, and had been a lifetime resident of this area. She was a member of the Portville Methodist Church and of Banner Rebekah Lodge 112.

Surviving are seven children, Chester Faulkner, Olean; Percy Faulkner, Ceres; John Faulkner, Portville; Ronald Faulkner, Scio,; Mrs. Janet Keller, Olean; Mrs. Joan Plumber, Tacoma, Wash.; Emmett Faulkner, Paramount, Calif.; 28 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph Baker, Friendship; Henry Baker, Angelica; Paul Baker, Nile; three sisters, Mrs. Violet Spring, Belvidere; Mrs. Grace Cook, Richburg; and Mrs. Evelyn Derr, a missionary in the South.

The body was removed to the Guenther-Morton Funeral Home, where services will be held Tuesday (June 30, 1959) at 2 p.m. The Rev. Earl Wooddell, pastor of the Portville Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
