Mrs. Floy Baker Saip, daughter of Marion R. and Sallie Hart Baker was born Aug. 3,1892 in Frontier County, Nebr., and died at the Republic County Long Term Care at Belleville, April 12,1979 at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 9 days.

She graduated from the Kearney Normal school and taught for several years in her home county. She was united in marriage to Harry A. Graff in 1913 and to this union four
children were born. They made their home on a farm near Orafino until 1932 when they moved to Cambridge, Nebr. Mr. Graff died in 1940.

She then moved to Belleville. She was united in mariage to Arthur K. Childs in 1942. Mr. Childs died in 1953.
She was a Gold Star Mother.

Her son, Kenneth was buried at sea in 1942. He was killed in action while on duty aboard the US Cruiser, Helena.

She was united in marriage to Joseph A. Saip in 1955. She continued to make her home at 1810 23rd street after Mr. Saip's death in 1966.

On Christmas day, 1976, she broke her hip and entered the Long Term Care at the Republic county Hospital in January, 1977.

She was a member of the United Evangelical church of Orafino, Nebr., the Neighbor Sewing Club in Nebraska and
was a past noble grand of the Rebekah Lodge of Belleville.

Preceding, her in death were: her parents; her husbands; three sons, Edwin, Kenneth and an infant son; one brother, Harry Baker of San Jose, Calif.; one sister, Lorna Kestler of Wichita. Survivors are: one daughter, Mrs.Elaine Lowell of Belleville; one sister, Mrs. Berthan McDermott of Gothenburg, Nebr.

Funeral services were held at the Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Memorial Chapel Saturday, April 14, 10:00 a.m. conducted
by the Rev. Alden. Longwell. Interment was in the Belleville cemetery.
