Alford Baker, 67, of Fosterburg, died May 21, 1997, in his home. He married Wilma Hossler, who survives. He had been co-owner of Tower Maintenance of Illinois, Illinois Concrete Co., and Baker's Acres Thoroughbred Farm. Also surviving are daughters, Linda Heath of Godfrey, Teresa Greeling of Fosterburg, and Tina Masterson of Cottage Hills; a brother, Albert of West Palm Beach, Fl.; a sister, Alberta Stonecipher of Bethalto; and 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Services were in Elias-Smith in Bethalto. Memorials may be given to Saint Anthony's in Alton.
