Bonnie M. Baker, 67, of 821 Douglas Ave. died Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, where she had undergone heart surgery. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Miss Baker, a lifelong Des Moines resident, was the retired co-owner of L.J. Baker Specialty Co. and also had been a secretary for Ohio Casualty Co. She was a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church, National Secretary''s Association and Valley View Village Guild.
Among survivors are her mother, Eva Pearl Baker, and a brother, Donald, both of Des Moines.
The family will visit with friends from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley View Village Guild.
