Clarence A. Baker II, affectionately known as C.C., of Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away January 31, 2005, at the age of 81. He served in the U.S. Army from April 1943 to April 1946 and was honorably discharged after being stationed at Ft. Dervens, Mass. and in Florence Italy. He was a veteran of WWII. After his military service he was employed at the U.S. Post Office in Jacksonville, Fla. where he worked for 20 years. He attended Florida State University where he received a Masters Degree in social work along with his wife. He retired as a civil service employee after 42 years and as a Clinical Social Worker, M.S.W.
