Celebration of Life for Mr. Wendall E. Baker of Lawrenceville, GA., will be held TODAY, September 12, 2009, 12 Noon, at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 2833 Flat Shoals Rd., Decatur. Father Lockett, Priest-In-Charge. He will lie in state at the church from 11 AM until the hour of service. Interment Hillandale M. Gardens. As a native of Guyana, Mr. Baker was proud of his native land.
He later migrated to the United States where he gained employment as an Inmate Manager with the Lawrenceville Police Department. His long standing post awarded him the opportunity to gain a lifetime of friendship with all that knew him.
His love lives in the heart of his wife, Mrs. Mavis Baker, and his legacy remains with his children, grandchildren, siblings, numerous extended family, The Lawrenceville Police Department, and many dear friends.
