Terribly Burned
Omri Baker. 30, son of Warren Baker, a farmer in the town of Coloma Waushara county, is hovering near death after having been terrible burned in his father's barn which was struck by lightning and burned to the ground - during Tuesday night's storm. The young man was sleeping in the hay mow when the lightning struck. His parents heard the cries of the victim as he managed to escape, unaided. A team of horses and a bull perished in the barn. The Baker farm is three miles east of the village of Coloma.
