Mrs. Maggie Pearl Baker, 79, died Tuesday at her home. She was the wife of the late Rev. J.T. Baker. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Esther Hopkins, Greensboro, NC, Mrs. Harvey B. Linkous, Radford; five sons, William H. Baker, Jesse L. Baker, both of Radford, John T. Baker, Jr., Silver Spring, MD, Cecil M. Baker, Roanoke, Joseph H. Baker, Laurel, MD; two brothers, Thomas Millstead, James Millstead, both of Newberry, SC; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Price, Whitmire, SC, Mrs. James Smith, Newberry. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the Virginia Conference Headquarters Cemetery, Dublin. Reverend Ivan Green and Reverend Marvin Parrish will officiate. Active pall-bearers are Steve Baker, Jerry Baker, Bobby Baker, Bentley Linkous, Theodore Linkous and Donald Linkous. The body is at Seaver-Sanders.
