Cindy was born in Columbia, SC to Margie Elizabeth Anderson and the late Henry W. Anderson. She worked as a legal secretary for many years before becoming a homemaker. "Nana" was especially proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking for her friends and family. She was a genuinely good person who was well liked by all. She will be missed by her friends and family.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 34 years, Andy Baker; daughters Kimberly Rippy and husband Terry of Burlington, NC, Jennifer Baker of Murrells Inlet, and Stephanie Vernon of Murrells Inlet; grandchildren Hannah Faith Rippy, Jackson Baker Rippy, John Dylan Shaw, Brayden Andrew Vernon, Mora Elizabeth Vernon, and Tyson Charles Thompson; son-in-law Matt Vernon of Murrells Inlet; and brother Barry Anderson and wife Cyndi of West Columbia, SC.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Goldfinch Funeral Home Beach Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
