James, 81, of Morganton, NC died Thursday, May 29, 2014 at his home.

Funeral Services were held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Labuda Funeral Home 356 Portage Road, Niagara Falls, New York. Burial will take place at Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, New York.

Jim was born in Wilmington, Delaware, the son of James Paul and Lillian (Monroe) Baker. On May 27, 1962 he married Geraldine Durham in Lewiston, NY.

Jim served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Titanium Corporation now know and Tam Ceramics, retiring in 1995 after 37 years of service.

He resided most of his life in Niagara Falls, moving to North Carolina in 1995. His family was very important to him. He enjoyed bowling for many years and in his later years he enjoy WEE Bowling with his children and grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his wife Geraldine "Skooky" Baker, 3 daughters; Terri and Mike Gilkerson, Ronda Baker, Kristine and Kenneth Baker-Chester, 2 sons; Ed and Dora Baker, Rick Baker, 9 grand children, 7 great grandchildren, 2 sisters & 1 brother.

He was predeceased by his parents, 1 sister.
