Oleta was a member of the Church of Christ.She enjoyed attending the ladies Bible class and was involved in the many outreach efforts of her class.She crocheted dozens of baby booties for new borns at the local hospital, made lap robes for the local rest home, the lakeview Christain Home in Carlsbad and the Chimala Mission hospital in Tanzania W, Africa.She also made dozens of diaper shirts for the Chimala Mission Hospital.
Oleta always enjoyed helping Sid in what ever he was doing;farming gardening,etc. She enjoyed going camping in the mountains each summer with her family and friends.
