Mrs. Lottie Baker Green, age 85 of Lincolnton died Monday, September 29, 2008.
A graveside service was held 3 p.m. October 1, at Hollybrook Cemetery with Rev. Charles Ingle officiating. The family received friends from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Green was born February 24, 1923 in Gaston County to the late Hugh Alexander and Eunice Abernethy Baker. She was also preceded in death by her infant son, Lanny Wayne Caskey, three brothers, Paul R. Baker, Jack Baker, Miles Baker, all from Lincolnton and three sisters, Hazel Culberson, Dallas, Ozell Kanipe, Washington, N.C., Carrie Lee Smith, Lincolnton.
Mrs. Green is survived by her husband, Edward Ray Green of the home; one daughter, Sandra C. Turner and husband Larry of Lincolnton; two brothers, Clyde W. Baker of Charlotte, Norman T. Baker of High Shoals; two sisters, Polly Smith and Rachel Loftin, both of Lincolnton; two grandsons, Brent S. Turner and wife Donna, and Darren S. Turner and wife Connie, all of Lincolnton; two great-granddaughters, Morgan and Gracie Turner of Lincolnton.
