Barbara L. Baker, 79, of Joppatowne, MD, passed away on December 31, 2014 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.
Born on Falls Road in Hamden, Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Edgar William and Charlotte Elizabeth Woodcock Jones.
She grew up in the 40's as an original Hamden girl with many of her friends from grade school with whom she still met with. Barb had strong religious beliefs and was very active with the Church of the Resurrection.
She was always the first person to say "hi" and greet everyone with a smile. She was known to be funny, outgoing and always goofing around to make others laugh. She loved animals and was very active in Meals on Wheels in both West Virginia and Ohio. Barb will truly be missed but always remembered with a smile and a laugh.

Mrs. Baker is survived by her husband of 56 years, Herbert Linden Baker; sons, Tim L. Baker of Elkton and Matt L. Baker and his wife, Angela, of Pasadena; and two grandsons, Justin and Ryan Baker. She was predeceased by her sister, Charlotte Odee (Jones), who died at the age of 47.
