MRS. JENNIE BAKER DIES ON WEDNESDAY
Funeral Services Will be Held Friday Afternoon
Mrs. Jennie Atlee Baker, 79, wife of John Baker, proprietor of the Baker carpenter shop, died Wednesday at her home here following a week’s illness of pneumonia.
Funeral services will be held from the Macy & Son chapel Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with burial in the Masonic cemetery.
Mrs. Baker was born Jan. 16, 1857, in England, and had lived here for about 50 years.
Surviving are the widower, to whom she was married 45 years ago last August; three daughters, Mrs. Maude Schlade of Portland and Mrs. Verna Bangasser and Mrs. Cleo Bangasser; both of Alameda, Cal., and three brothers, Joe Atlee of Monroe, Wash., W.S. Atlee of Banks and Allie Atlee.
