FUNERAL THIS MORNING
After 60 years of life, half of which was spent in this city, Mrs. Deborah Baker died Monday evening at her home on South Garrison Avenue of stomach trouble and cancer.
The funeral will be held, this forenoon at 10 o'clock at the residence. Dr. Stephen A. Northrup of the Baptist church officiating, after which the remains will be interred in Park Cemetery.
The deceased was survived by seven children as follows:
Harry Baker of Los Angeles
another son (first name illegible) of Utah
Chas Baker of Kansas
Mrs. W. Rohm and Misses Nella and Fannie Baker, who all live in this city. The latter was summoned from the state university to the bedside of her mother Saturday.
Mrs. Baker was born July 23, 1818 at Oswego, New York and spent her early life in the east where she was married to Fred Baker, who passed away in this city several years ago.
Thirty years of residence in this city has given Mrs. Baker a wide acquaintance and it is not the relatives alone that will have many tender memories of the deceased.
