KEWANEE, IL - Leo Mark Baker, 54, of Kewanee, Il. died at his home at 10:45 A.M. Sunday, October 6, 2013, surrounded by his family, fiancé, Kathy Gillespie and friends.

Mark was born March 2, 1959 in Rock Island, Il. the son of Dale and Anna Belle (Jipp) Baker. He graduated from Kewanee High School in 1977 and the Black Hawk East Jr. College, Kewanee. Mark was employed at DixLine Corp. in Galva and also at Midland Country Club.

Surviving are his parents of Kewanee, his fiancé Kathy Gillespie and their daughter Sarah Ann Baker both of Kewanee, three brothers Matt (Yevette) Baker of East Dundee, Il., Steven (Joan) Baker of Florissant, MO and Bruce Baker of Auburn, CA .and two nieces Abra Baker and Stephanie Baker. Also surviving are two aunts, two uncles and cousins.

Mark was preceded by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Mark was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Kewanee. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hunting, gardening and being outdoors. Mark also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and his daughter Sarah Ann. He was a fan of the University of Illinois Football.

Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Kewanee, IL.
