Funeral services will be in Meeks Mortuary Chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Mausleum. Visitation is 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday or before the funeral Thursday. Muncie Lodge 433, F&AM, will conduct memorial services at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Born in Hartford, Ky., Mr. Baize moved to Linton in 1941 and Muncie in 1943. He served in the Army after World War II. He was employed at Warner Gear (now Borg-Warner Automotive, Transmission Systems) for 30 years, retiring as an inspector in 1980. He was a member of Warner Gear Sympathy Club, Muncie Lodge 433, F&AM; Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianapolis; York Rite, Chapter, Council and Commandery; Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 104; and was president of the Masonic Temple Board. For the past three years he and his wife were assistant superintendents a the Masonic Temple.
