She was born to James and Elizabeth Engle Baish in Cumberland County on June 10, 1911.
A 1929 graduate of Boiling Springs Vocational High School and 1933 of Harrisburg School of Nursing (R.N. degree), she was member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hummelstown.
Her son Newman L Stare of Harrisburg was her survivor.
Funeral services held in her church with burial in Mt Zion Cemetery, Allen.
