BAIRD, Mr. Clarence W., age 92, of La Crosse, died Monday, March 15, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline B. Baird, and is survived by a son and his wife, Paul and Ruby Baird of Richmond, and a daughter and her husband, Judy and Bill Taylor of Colonial Heights. Also surviving are a brother, Ulysses Baird of Mechanicsville; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Paynter of Mechanicsville and Dorothy Lynch of Whitehall, Pa.; two grandchildren, Pam Tatum and Nancy Fontana; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan and Hunter-Kaitlin Tatum and Jackson Fontana. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17 at Farrar Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial considerations may be directed to La Crosse United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 279, La Crosse, Va. 23950, or CMH Aux.
