Allen V. Baird, Master Sergeant United States Air Force, (ret) passed away. He was born in San Antonio, New Mexico, to the late Otto and Glenna Jean Baird.
He was a member of the Stillmedow Church of the Nazarene and retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service to our country. He later retired again from the Mosler Lock and Safe Company after 25 years of service as a Branch Manager.
Surviving are his 3 daughters, Mrs. Shawn and husband, Patrick Patterson of Stevens City, VA, Mrs Denna and husband, Daniel Strahl, and Victoria Baird, all of York Haven; three grandchildren, Caleb Patterson, Daniel Strahl, and Emily Patterson; and a sister, Laura Bell Eaton of Deming, New Mexico.
Mr. Baird was dedicated to his God, family and country and loved by all who knew him.
There was a visitation at the CrossPoint United Methodist Church, Harrisburg. The funeral with full military honors followed at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
