Blanche Louise Reynolds Baird, age 76, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 29, 2012 in a Texarkana, Texas Hospital surrounded by family.
Blanche was born August 4, 1936 in Upshur County, Texas to Paul and Effie Reynolds. She was a retired Dental Hygienist for Dr. Tom Smith; a Dental Hygienist instructor for several years at Tyler Junior College; and a member of Atlanta Church of Christ. She loved taking care of people and painting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Baird; her parents; two sisters, Maggie Little, and Peggy Honea.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Moss and wife Kathy of Atlanta, Texas, Sam Moss of Atlanta, Texas, Dennis Baird of Atlanta, Texas; one brother, David Reynolds of White Oak, Texas; two sisters, Paula Jo Delaney of Jacksonville, Texas, Margaret Ritter of Lantana, Texas; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Moss, Dustin Moss Abbagaile Moss; two great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 2, 2012 at the Hanner Funeral Chapel, with Jacob Rutledge and Luke Nickerson officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 1, 2013, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.
Interment will be in Courtland Cemetery, Queen City, Texas.
