AMERICAN FORK -- Charlotte Smith Bair, 75, of 77 N. 100 W., American Fork, died Monday in American Fork Hospital following a lingering illness.
Mrs. Bair was born Aug. 4, 1898 in London, England, to Charles and Mary Ann Powell Smith. She married Nelson S. Bair, Sr. on March 22, 1918 in England.
She was a housewife and a member of the Jehovah Witnesses.
Surviving are her husband, one daughter and three sons, Clarence F. Bair and Nelson S. Bair, Jr., both of American Fork; Donald E. Bair and Mrs. Ralph (Rita) Goldsmith, both of Long Beach, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, Fred Smith, Mrs. Gwendolyn Caswell, Mrs. Lillian Gribble and Mrs. Irene Calender, all of England.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Anderson and Sons Mortuary Chapel, American Fork. Friends may call Thursday one hour prior to services. Burial in American Fork Cemetery.
