BAINTER - Benj. S. Bainter, aged 60 years, died at 6 o'clock this morning at his farm home three miles west of New Paris, after a nine months' illness from goiter. Mr. Bainter was a well known farmer and had served as township assessor. He is survived by his wife, Lucinda, two sons, Calvin E. and Melvin J. Bainter, both of the vicinity; one brother, Daniel Bainter and a sister, Mrs. Louis Stouder. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 o'clock from the Whitehead church, friends meeting at the house about half an hour earlier.
