She was an excellent cook and homemaker. No one ever left her home hungry. She loved her entire family dearly and always thanked GOD for the family that she had. She enjoyed working side by side with her family on the farm; raising beets, corn, beans, hay, cattle and pigs. She always looked on the bright side even when things didn't go as planned. She was a true optimist.
They farmed until sickness forced them to retire and move into Bridgeport in 1978. She had a large lawn and flowerbeds that she kept well manicured. She always had a large group of various flowers. There were many fishing trips. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Donald passed away in 1980.
Wanda married Harry Heimbuck in December of 1982 in Emmett, Idaho. They moved back to Bridgeport and made many trips to Idaho to visit family and friends until Harry's death in 1991.
