Gladys Baileys, 87, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012. Service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Carrillo Funeral Home, Grand Prairie. Interment: Southland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Gladys was born Aug. 14, 1924, in Depew, Okla., to Edgar Sivils and Sarah Bertha Dotson. She married the love of her life, Chester A. Baileys, on July 10, 1940; he preceded her in death in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ted and Jim Sivils; sister, Corene Bell; half sister, Sandra Wyman; and grandson, Kenneth Baileys.
Survivors: Sons, Charles Baileys (Gaby) and John Baileys (Helen); daughter, Doris Dale (Gene); 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
