Mrs. Thelma Adams, 64, of De Soto, was found dead in the bathroom of her home in De Soto Tuesday night.
Jackson County Coroner Harry Flynn said today death appeared due to natural causes. Flynn said an autopsy was to be performed today to determine the cause of death.
Mrs. Adams was found about 7 p.m. by Jackson County Deputy Sheriff O. T. McKinney, who forced a door to the Adams home at Hickory and Main streets.
Neighbors called the sheriff's office late Tuesday afternoon and reported they had not seen Mrs. Adams for two days.
Flynn said Monday and Tuesday papers were found on the porch, and all doors were locked on the inside.
