Mrs. Rubye Kathleen "Kathy" Hall Bailey went to her heavenly home to live with the love of her life, John, on 4/8/20 at the age of 86.

A "Private Immediate Family Only" Funeral/Graveside service was held 10:00AM Saturday 4/11/20 at West Shady Grove Cemetery in Webster County, MS. Rev. Travis Gray officiated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Born on 9/26/33 in Mathiston, MS she was the tenth of eleven children born to William Phinas and Bertha Lee Arizona Frost Hall. There were seven boys and four girls, eight of which grew to adulthood. During her young life she lived in Mathiston, Maben, Coldwater MS as well as Whiteville, TN. She graduated from Coldwater High School and attended Northwest Community College in Senatobia, MS.

In 1953, while at the only wrestling match she ever attended, she met the love of her life, John V. Bailey. They were married for 52 years until his death in 2005. They lived in Whitehaven TN until 1977 where she was instrumental in starting Trinity Baptist Christian School, remaining there until her husband retired and they moved to Eupora, MS. Later she worked with Westat, a research company mainly testing students for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) for over thirty years until she retired in 2005 in order to help care for her husband.

Mrs. Kathy is survived by her four children; J (Becky) Bailey, Anderson, SC, Marshall (Cheryl) Bailey Smithville, MS, Carol (David) Morgan, Athens, TX, and Lee Bailey, Eupora, MS as well as seven grandchildren; Jessica (Dwain) Ray, Jamie Bailey, Aaron Marshall Bailey, John Robert Bailey, Chase (K.T.) Morgan, Garrett Morgan and Vincent Charles Morgan and one great grandson; Beckham Carter Ray, a brother; Andy Hall, a brother in law; Thomas Bailey as well as two sisters in law; Minnie Lou Wright and Barbara Hall. There are several nieces and nephews but three were more like siblings; Vic McCrory, Gwen Hamblin and Linda Luckett.
