Mrs. Helen M. Bailey Taylor, 72, a retired employee of Haywood Publishing Co., died Jan. 27 in her residence at 1806 Central Street, apparently of a heart attack. Born at Lafayette, she was a lifelong resident. In 1936 she was married to Martin J. Taylor, a retired Lafayette policemen, who died in 1971. Surviving are a son, Police Sgt. Thomas M. Taylor, Lafayette and one daughter Mrs. Charles R. (Bonnie) Best. Service was held Jan. 30 in Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Rev. Robert Fields officiating. Interment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
