Fred O. Bailey
Fred O. BAILEY, 85, R.R. 3, Rochester, died at 5:15 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn hospital, where he had been a patient three weeks. He had been in failing health 18 years.
He was born Dec. 28, 1887 in El Paso, Ill., to William and Elizabeth NORTH BAILEY, and moved here in 1920 from LaCrosse. He was married Dec. 30, 1908 in El Paso to Clara M. WADSWORTH, who survives. He was retired from farming and also retired from the former Rochester Lincoln school maintenance staff. He was a member of the Rochester First Baptist church.
Survivng with the wife are a daughter, Mrs. John (Dorothy) PHEBUS, R.R. 3, Rocheter; two sons, Lyle F. BAILEY, West Sixth street, and Earl J. BAILEY, R.R. 5, Rochester; eight grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Ella NORTH, El Paso. Two brothers and five sisters preceded in death.
Final rits will be at 3:30 p.m.Wednesday at the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev. Donald E. MAUGHAN officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home. The family requests memorials be made to charity.
