Cager B. Bailey, Former Resident, Died In Georgia

Cager B. Bailey, 71, a former Morrison resident, died Wednesday at Bowdon, Georgia, where he had resided the past few years. The body will be brought to Morrison and funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Carney funeral home. Rev. C. H. Becker will officiate, and burial will be made in the Grove Hill cemetery.

The deceased was born in Alabama August 6, 1872, the son of J. H. and Mary Bailey, and came to the Morrison vicinity in 1885, where he farmed for many years. He operated a lunch room in Morrison at one time. The deceased was a veteran of the Spanish-American war.

He was married to Margaret Theis of Morrison, who died in 1926, and their son Lloyd died in 1936. A number of years ago he returned to Georgia, where he remarried. Besides the widow he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Charles W. Richardson of Prophetstown.
