He was born April 6, 1914 in rural Oblong, the son of Frank R and Nancy Bishop Bailey.
He was a pipefitter, working for Marathon for nearly 35 years before retiring in 1977.
Eura married Lucille Carpenter Nov. 25, 1936 and she preceded him in death March 24, 1992. He was also preceded by his parents, two brothers, Noble and Nolan; and two sisters, Geneva King and Nenna McElravy.
He is survived by two daughters, Pauletta Adams and Rowena Turner; seven grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Goodwine Funeral Home with burial in Oblong Cemetery.
