Charlotte Joynes Bailey, a homemaker, died July 23, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Cape Charles, Va. She was the widow of Cuthbert Earn Bailey and was a member of Carrow Baptist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 45 and Kings Daughters, Beach Circle.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Sue Benoit of Dumfries, Va.; a son, Robert Bailey of Norfolk; one grandson, Brian Benoit of Dumfries, Va.; one granddaughter, Holly Bailey of Norfolk; and one niece, Gayle Coble of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. A. Kenneth Carlton Jr. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. Mrs. Bailey will be available for viewing today from noon to 6 p.m. only. Friends may join the family at the funeral home for visitation Monday evening between 7 and 8:30 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Carrow Baptist Church or Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters.
