Mary B. Foley was born on January 30, 1888, in Sioux City, Iowa. Daughter of Thomas L. Foley and Mary MacNamara, she was the sister of Roger Thomas. She married Francis McCarty Bailey about 1915, in Pittsburgh, PA. They were the parents of Helen Mary, Frank G., Thomas and Mary Ruth (Sister Mary Anthony, IHM/Sister Mary Ruth, IHM); and Mary was the step-mother of Zelia. Mary died on October 17, 1966 in the Homestead Hospital, and was buried with her husband in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills, PA
