George Edward Baier is buried at the Dallas Fort Worth International Cemetery, in Dallas, TX. He and Helen had 4 children, three survived. Michael, died at birth. George and Helen were married 47 yrs. until Helen's death in 1988. They were born in Chicago, Ill., lived in Prairie Village, KS, Dallas, TX, Syracuse, NY, and Port St. Lucie, FL. George is survived by his sister Dr. Marilyn Baier of Seattle, WA; Daughter Mary Ann Phelps, husband, Dean of Dallas, and children, Lauren Bendiksen, son-in-law Matt Bendiksen, their children Claire and Natalie; Son, David Baier, and his son, Bryan, and step-daughter Tina Henry; Daughter, Margaret Pestka, her husband James of E.Lansing, MI,and their children, Karl and Kristen.
George retired after 43 yrs. with Pass & Seymour Electric Supply Co. in Syracuse, N.Y. He was in sales and management. He served in WWII in the U.S. Army in France.
