Friday, December 28, 1990

Nellie E. BAHNEY, 81, Rt. 1, Akron, died at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at Life Care Center.

She was born June 8, 1909 in Fulton County to Joseph W. and Vida A. KAMP DILSAVER. On Jan. 18, 1928 in Warsaw she married Urban S. BAHNEY, who died Aug. 8, 1963. She was a member of the Rochester VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Peru Eagles Auxiliary.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Russel (Colleen "Bonnie") MILLER, Roann; four sons, Bob and John BAHNEY, both of Macy, and Marvin and Virgil BAHNEY, both of Akron; twenty-one grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren, and five step-grandchildren. Preceding in death were two brothers, Charles and Theodore [DILSAVER]; two step-sisters, Jessie YEAZEL and Cynthia FRITZ, and a step-brother, Ralph RHODES.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Pastor Lawrence SEE officiating. Burial will be in the Akron Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday.
