Mrs. Evelean Julie Bahn, 70, a resident of Staunton for 50 years, died at noon Friday at Anna-Henry Nursing Home in Edwardsville. She had been in declining health.
Born July 1, 1904, in Edwardsville, she was the daughter of the late David and Margaret Stitch McDaid. She married George Bahn Sept. 9, 1924, in Collinsville. He died Oct. 6, 1972. Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. Richard (Gloria) Hinthorne of Staunton, and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Bahn was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Staunton.
Friends may call at Murphy Funeral Home, Staunton, from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday. A wake service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Michael's Church, with Rev. G.R. McCaughey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Staunton.
