Mrs. Bafia was a laborer and one of the founding members of Kolo 24 Szaflary of the Polish Highlanders Association of North America.
Survivors include one son, Jan (the late Helena); two daughters, Janina (the late Jan) Duda and Zofia Lesnicki; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Anna Adamczyk; one daughter-in-law, Anastazja Bafia; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jozef Bafia; her parents, Jozef and Klementyna (nee Stopka) Bukowski; and two sons, Jozef (Anna) and Andrzej Bafia.
Visitation was Sunday at Zarzycki Manor Chapels. Funeral services were Monday at St. Camillus Church. Interment followed in Resurrection Cemetery.
