Mildred Marguerite Baer, 73, died Monday, Aug. 8, 1988, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
She was a lifetime resident of Ness County and had lived at their present farm home for over 51 years. Born Nov. 29, 1914, at Bazine, she married Milton J. Baer Aug. 8, 1937, at Ness City. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, ESA, and Ness County Historical Society.
She is survived by her husband, of the home; a daughter, Stephanie Ann Nichepor of Ness City; seven sisters, Alberta Burke of Lancaster, Calif., Doris Ringstad of Los Angeles, Jean Gordon of Wichita, Elnyr Noland of Sedgwick, Charlene Wittman of Aurora, Ill., Joann Grose of Decatur, Ala., and Sherell Stum of Towner, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Snyder officiating. Burial will be in the Ransom Cemetery.
