Anna Louise Badger, 98, passed away February 7, 2018 at Golden Living Center Lincoln Hills.(Tell City)
She was born November 2, 1919 in Cannelton, daughter of the late Richard and Ida Agnes (Dixon) Doughty. Also preceding her in death was her husband Wallace Badger and close friends, Dorothy Sibrel, Phyllis Sibrel and Kathy Petrik.
In 1955, Anna Louise received a Masters Degree from Indiana University. She was a teacher for Tell City- Troy Township School Corporation for 41 years, under three administrators, teaching in the same building, formerly called “Consolidated”.
She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Cannelton, Perry County Retired Teacher’s Association and Indiana Retired Teacher’s Association. Anna Louise enjoyed traveling and going out to eat with family and friends.
