Anna Kiel was confirmed in the Lutheran faith 1 April 1917 in St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church (Barr Street - Fort Wayne, IN) by Revs. Paul & Jacob Miller.

Anna Elizabeth Kiel married Ernest Bacon on Junly 12, 1922 in Hillsdale, MI. Witnesses at their marriage by M.E. (Methodist-Episcopal) Pastor W. W. Whitehouse were Grace H. and Eliza M. Whitehouse.

Anna's Obituary: (Journal-Gazette 14 June 1982)
Anna E. Bacon, 78 died Saturday, June 12 at Parkview Hospital. She was a native of Kendallville, lived in Fort Wayne most of her life. Surviving are son Gerald of New Haven; 2 daughters - Iona Brames of Monroeville and Oarta Lee of New Haven; sister, Loretta Sunderland; a brother - Harold. She was a member of St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church. Burial was in IOOF cemetery - New Haven, IN.
