Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Athens Cemetery for Helen V. BACON, 83, Four Seasons Estates.
The Rev. Irvin BEHM will officiate. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Hartzler Funeral Home, Rochester.
Mrs. Bacon died at 4:20 a.m. Wednesday shortly after admission to Woodlawn Hospital.
She was born in Fulton County to Audra and Dollie SMITH PUTMAN. She moved from Phoenix, Ariz., to Rochester in 1983. On July 20, 1929 in Peru she married Russel BACON, who survives. She had worked for six years at the former Chamberlin Products in Akron.
Surviving with her husband are three sons, Phillip [BACON], Scottsdale, Ariz.; Paul [BACON], Leo, Ind., and Larry [BACON], San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Paul (Mary) FRIDDLE, Rochester. Preceding in death were a sister, Marjorie HAROLD, on Sept. 4, 1990, and a brother, David PUTMAN.
