Services will take place Friday for Mrs. Alphonsine Bacon Paul, wife of Alfred Paul, of 1307 Howard Avenue, who died in her home Tuesday.
They will be conducted at 8:30 a.m. in her home and at 9 o'clock in St. Anthony's Church with a solemn high Mass of requiem. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
Born in Fall River, Mass., Mrs. Paul was a resident here many years and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne of St. Anthony Church, and the Bridgeport Council of Catholic Women.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Henry and Wilbrod Paul of Bridgeport, and Napoleon Paul of Devon; a daughter, Mrs. Germain Poirier of Bridgeport; a sister, Mrs. Matilda Thatrault/Tetrault of Hartford; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
