Fidelia Royse was the youngest of at least nine children of Lemuel/Anna Garfield Royse. Her siblings were: Lemuel, Jr. 1780–1857, Anna Lawrence 1784–1837, Anson 1787, Elinzor 1789, Matilda Foss 1792, Andre 1794, Orison 1797–1888, and Ayres Royse 1800-1870.
She married James Bacon 25 Nov 1825 in Charlestown, Sullivan Co., NH. They had six children: James Jr., Elvina Woodford, Fidelia, Horace, Charles, and Matilda Loretta.
