Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Freeman Chapel CME Church with the Revs. J. Glenn and H. Pendleton officiating and burial in Cave Spring Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday with a wake from 7 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Adams Funeral Home.
A native of Christian County, he was born June 5, 1903, the son of the late Judison and Josephine R. Bacon. He was a member of Freeman Chapel CME Church where he served on the Trustee and Ushers boards.
His first wife, Especulia Bacon, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Frances V. Leavell Bacon; three daughters, Liddie B. Thompson of Indianapolis, Ind., and Esther Whitlock and Vera Gilmer, both of Hopkinsville, and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
