Amy Baca, age 72, a resident of Belén, NM, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013.
Amy was a member of Our Lady of Belén Catholic Church.
Amy worked for Belén Public Schools with the Special Education Program.
Amy was preceded in death by her father and mother, Gillie and Emma Castillo Sánchez, brother, Wilfred Sánchez and in-laws, Antonio and María Elicia Baca.
Amy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Antonio José Baca, her three grown children, Cindy Carabajal and her husband, Floyd, son, Anthony Baca and his wife, Carmen and son, Jim Baca and his wife, Annabelle, seven grandchildren, three-great-grandchildren, sister, Dinah Baca and two brothers, Milton Sánchez and Albert Sánchez. Amy is also survived by many relatives and friends.
All services will be held at Our Lady of Belén Catholic Church on Friday, April 26, 2013 beginning with a viewing at 8:30 a.m. with a rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Father Scott McKee presiding. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belén Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Anthony Baca, Antonio Baca, Jim Baca, Noah Baca, Floyd Carabajal and Jonathan Carabajal.
