Benito was born April 3, 1933, to Luis P. and Elvira (Montano) Baca in Anton Chico, NM. He came to Clovis from Santa Fe after his retirement from Economy Shoe Repairs and became a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Survivors include his six nieces, Molly Baca of Littlefield, TX, Vera Baca, Florinda Baca, JoAnn Baca, Eva Baca, and Julie Baca all five of Spearman, TX; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paretns, Luis and Elvira; one sister, Rita Pacheco; two brothers, Joe Baca and Modesto Baca; and one nephew, Rudy Baca.
