In loving memory of our beloved mother, Maria Rose Padilla-Baca, born June 15, 1927 in Amalia, New Mexico; called home Feb. 20, 2009 in Colorado Springs, CO.

Survived by her loving husband, Ray Padilla; nine children who love and cherish her: Art, Becky (Moe), Eliseo, Hazel (Richard), Loretta, Steve (Susie), Cindy, Myra, and Roberta (Isidro). Preceded in death by two loving sons: James and Julio.

Survived by two siblings: her loving sister, Angelita, her loving brother, Rosendo. Three loving sisters preceded her in death: Trine, Jenny, and Nicki.

She is cherished by her 29 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

We will grieve, our hearts ache because we can't hold her. We will cherish our memories and carry her love with us each and every day. We will rejoice because she suffers no more; she is in the gentle hands of our loving Lord. We rejoice for the day that we shall unite once again.

Visitation at the funeral home, 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, followed by rosary recitation, at Imperial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass, 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sacred Heart Cathedral. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
