Daniel Lee Baca passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at the age of 60 at his home in Barstow. He was born Jan. 28, 1946, in Bosque, N.M. He graduated from Barstow High School in 1963 and served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for the postal service for 40 years. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Casimiro and Maria Baca; brothers, Jose Baca, Julio Baca, Esteban Baca; and sister, Christina Gomez. He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne of 39 years; children, Steven and Marsha of Barstow; and Daniel Paul of Las Vegas, NV.; grandchildren Jacqueline Henderson, Leslie Henderson and Steven Henderson Jr., David Baca, Isabella Baca, Andrew Baca and Rachelle Baca; brothers, Nestor, George, and Albert of Barstow and Patricio of Belen, N.M.; sisters, Domie Lovato, Alice Castillo, Mella Rodriguez, Christela Salas, Carmen Cordova, Virginia Jaramillo, Rosela Serafin, and Loraine Weaver of Barstow and Rosalina Vallejos of Pico Rivera.
