Cathryn E. Bable, 87, formerly of Chestnut Street, Kittanning, died at 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 1983, at the Armstrong County Health Center where she had been a patient for the last three years. Born Aug. 7, 1895, in Adrian, she was a daughter of Addison and Mary (Lasher) Wyant. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Adrian and was a retired cafeteria worker from the Kittanning Central Elementary School. She is survived by one son, Stewart McNutt of Monclabo, Mexico; three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Mary Louise) Summers of Rochester, Pa., Mrs. Joseph (Betty) Lightbody of Kittanning RD 6, and Mrs. B. J. (Joanne) Mine of Freedom. Also surviving are two brothers, Daniel Wyant and Johnny Wyant, both of New Kensington; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Nellie) Santrock of New Philadelphia, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George A. McNutt who, died in August of 1938; her second husband, Walter S. Bable on April 3, 1971; one daughter, Mrs. Lenora McCoy in November of 1965; one brother and four sisters. BABLE Friends of Cathryn E. Bable, 87, formerly of Chestnut Street, Kittanning, who died Friday, Feb. 11, l'983, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Robert A. Free, pastor of the Rupp Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery in Adrian. Arrangements are by Bauer .
