Born Jan. 7, 1907, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Adolph and Ida Koopman Gysin. She married Eugene H. Babcook on May 16, 1931, in Burlington. He died Jan. 31, 1957.
Mrs. Babcook attended Lauman School. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and a long-time resident of Autumn Heights.
She is survived by three nieces and three nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and one nephew.

The graveside committal service for Mrs. Babcook will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Aspen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Carl Engstrom officiating.
A memorial has been established for Bethany Lutheran Church.
